If you are a golfer that has the skill to shape and craft scoring shots, while also wanting a little more assistance when you are further out, this set checks all the boxes.
This combo set combines both models of the new Fort Worth range; the 7 iron and longer are the extremely forgiving Fort Worth CB design, while the 8, 9 and wedge are the workable Fort Worth MB model.
TECHNOLOGY
The Fort Worth range incorporates the breakthrough Ceramic Matrix Composite technology.
Within each club lies a CMC core. This proprietary technology is precisely positioned and co-forged in each club, allowing us to manipulate the center of gravity for an optimal launch on each club.
The tech, when paired with the CB design, allows us to push more weight to the perimeter of the club, maximizing forgiveness to help reduce damaging misses.
In the MB construction, the progressive center of gravity delivers workability and a penetrating ball flight.
V-SOLE®
No golfer is perfect. So at some point, you’re going to have to negotiate shots from the rough. Or worse. And that’s where a friendly sole will help your club glide easier through that turf so you can make more solid contact with the ball.
Our irons feature our famous V-SOLE®, which sports a high-bounce leading edge and soft, lower-bounce trailing edge. Regardless of the length or thickness of the grass, this V-shaped sole cuts right through as if you were hitting from the heart of the fairway. It's simply the most versatile sole in golf, shaped to be forgiving and prevent digging.
DESIGN
We continue to be guided by Mr. Hogan's ethos: each club should be a fine piece of jewelry.
On clubs that offer as much forgiveness as these, we've attempted to honor this legacy, keeping much of the tech inside, while offering golfers more forgiveness and assistance than could previously be offered in a head this elegant.
