How does a Sabona Copper Bracelet actually work?

The Sabona copper dissolves from the bracelets when reacting with the skins moisture (perspiration), leaving a green/black mark on the skin (please note that Sabona Executive Magnetic and Professional Steel Twist Bracelets do not contain copper and will not turn your wrist green). However, this is a good sign that indicates that copper deposits have transferred from the Sabona Bracelet and settled on the surface of the skin (if excessive, this can easily be removed with soap and water). This copper is then utilised by the body. There is a strong indication through years of research that copper has anti-inflammatory properties, and it is this characteristic that is of interest to all who suffer from aches and pains.

How do I get the correct sized bracelet and how do I wear it?

To ensure you have the correct sized bracelet, take your wrist measurement in inches, then take 1/2 inch off that measurement to get your bracelet size. This is to allow approx. 1/2 inch gap between the two ends of the bracelet for comfort reasons. Please note that this procedure only applies to the Copper and Copper Magnetic Bracelets. To find the correct size Executive Magnetic Bracelet measure your wrist and' bracelets will be sent 1/2 bigger than the wrist measurement. All bracelets should be worn firm to the skin to enable either the transfer of copper to take place efficiently
or for the magnets to be in constant contact with the skin.

How long should I wear the bracelet? Can I shower with it?

To obtain the greatest effect, wear the Sabona Copper Bracelet constantly. Wearers report that the products provide them the most benefit when worn all the time, even at night or in the shower or bath. We do however recommend that the Sabona Copper Bracelets be replaced every 18 months to 2 years, due to the fact that the copper content is being diminished every time you wear it.

It is important to clean the inside of the copper bracelet to prevent a build up of dirt and grime, which may cause skin irritation/rash if it blocks the pores of the skin, we recommend weekly cleaning. It is best to use a recommended Cleaning Cloth or soft scourer to gently remove any build up. You should not use a scourer on the outside of the bracelet as it may ruin its finish.
