Philip Humber is one of the New York Mets' most promising young pitchers. The Mets selected the talented Texan in the first round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft and third overall. After recovering from Tommy John surgery and working his way through the Mets' minor league system Humber made his big league debut on September 24 2006 in a game against the Nationals. He is currently with the Mets' Triple-A affiliate the New Orleans Zephyrs but is expected to return to the Mets at some point during the 2007 season perhaps for good. Philip Humber has hand signed this official MLB baseball which comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
