The New HiPPO XXL Combo iron set is the perfect match between forgiveness and playability. Hippo Golf has replaced the 3 and 4 iron with easier to hit hybrids that provide the distance and forgiveness of a wood with the control of an iron. They have also improved the feel and performance of the 5-PW by expanding perimeter weighting with a deep cavity and lowering the center of gravity.
The 3 and 4 irons are the state of the art in hybrid technology, combining a 17-4 stainless housing with a maraging steel face for a powerful yet consistent feeling club.
The 5-PW are also state of the art 17-4 stainless steel, shaped into a deep cavity for forgiveness. Additional weight was placed lower in the club to produce higher, straighter and longer shots that blend perfectly with its hybrid counterparts.
Each performance characteristic of the head, shaft and grip have been system matched to each head in the set, ensuring unmatched distance, control and forgiveness.
